Hi, I’m Joey.

And no, I don’t really talk about my feelings here. Unless you’re talking about feeling ‘tipsy’, or ‘like a nap’. Then OH BOY, DO I.

I live in Long Beach, California, where I’ve spent most of my life. I graduated from Cal State Long Beach with a business degree, which I loved earning but had no idea what to do with. I stumbled into grad school and got my masters (information science) mainly so that I could put off adulthood, which worked out super well. Currently I work at a public library, though before that I waitressed, and for a short but glorious amount of time, bartended.

I love whiskey, muscle cars, books of all stripe (including comic books), every animal ever, tattoos, vegan food, the Murder City Devils, and Tom Waits. And naps. And you. (Unless you’re a jerk.)
