My home is so teeny that this is what happens in the living when I’m cooking in the kitchen. But I’ve found a clever trick for making a room feel much larger: paint. Color irrelevant. Just do it yourself, ALL OF IT, SO MUCH PAINTING, and that room will feel fucking palatial. See also: hands and kneesies washing.
