1. find a hiding spot
2. curl up
3. CRY PARTY

On my 13th birthday my parents gave me a musical jewelry box. “I wonder what it plays,” I thought. “Maybe something from Phantom!” (Cool kid. The coolest.) I suppose it was fun, in an evil way that I totally respect, for them to watch their newly teenaged daughter attempt to hold shit together at her birthday party. (And I still have it. Well played, parents.)
