Because I work at a library and am an avid reader, people often assume that I have some disdain for television. You guys, as if. Not only do I not hate it, I looooove it. A lot. I could happily waste a day away on a shitty cable reality show marathon, or regularly stay up way too late flipping between Buffy reruns (love you, LOGO!) and the History Channel.

Thought process, while going through new paperbacks at the library:
Oh, hey, Laurie Halse Anderson is doing a kids series called Vet Volunteers. That’s pretty rad. A bit of a departure from the super heavy teen books of hers (Speak, Wintergirls; both amazing) that I’m more familiar with, but that’s cool. Serious teen drama and rescue animals. She’s got me covered.
